Transitions and bending/flexion

Very good day. Worked in drag first, then worked with cart again. She was very relaxed, responsive and brave. Worked in cart, started with just a few steps and worked until she got used to the shafts, the noise and the feel. VERY GOOD GIRL.

Worked on relaxed, steady gaits. (She is getting much better still, but carries a little bit of nervousness) Introduced the cart. At first she wanted nothing to do with it, so we worked on relaxing and accepting it. At first she followed it, then went side by side, then had the cart follow her until she would stand comfortably to be touched with it and relaxed with it going all around her. Did not hook her up but finally she relaxed and became comfortable around the cart/.

Worked on steady gaits and relaxing. Worked under saddle too. She started quite a bit nervous about things but we worked until she was okay with things and calm/relaxed.

Very good day. Stayed pretty relaxed and responsive the whole session. Worked in drag on walk, trot, halt, stand, changing direction. Also forgot to post in log from 11/29/09 put saddle on and sat on her. Did not do much but stand and a little walking to keep her relaxed, but will work with again
